David Austin Rose Half-Sphere 2 (Set Of 8 Small Lightweight Spheres)

A perfect lightweight inner platform used for all flower growth stages from fully opened roses to grand fluffy peonies, lotus seed pods, a much faster beginning for the perfect lightweight sugar flowers. Each half-sphere is made from lightweight cotton material. There is a central hole located in the base of each. Hot glue can be used to firmly secure a floral wire inside. Robert recommends the larger (half-sphere 1) for attaching unwired petals too, creating a lightweight large bloom such as David Austin styled roses or Peonies. Robert designed these semi-spheres with the following benefits in mind. Speed – You can cover both half-sphere sizes in paste, create an outer rim of petals then fill the inner platform with angled younger petals or simply add as little as 5 cupped petals for an opening peony bud. These half-spheres will save on time limiting the number of inner petals used for larger unwired blooms. Extremely lightweight – perfect for arranging numerous finished peonies, roses, and closed flowers for safe/stable cake designs. Tip - If fully immersing a finished unwired sugar peony, rose, etc, into Robert’s matt or satin setting glaze, please ensure the whole sphere is airtight and completely sealed in the paste before applying petals.
